We utilise advanced concrete products and sealers known for their scratch and stain resistance. To ensure the prolonged durability of our concrete items, we recommend adhering to the following care instructions:
Cleaning:
Employ warm water and a microfiber cloth for cleaning, as chemicals may harm the sealer or concrete. Avoid using abrasive products for scrubbing.
Scratching:
Avoid cutting on the concrete surface and refrain from dragging heavy or sharp objects across it. In the event of a scratch, kindly contact us for assistance with repair.
Staining:
Swiftly clean up all spills, particularly acidic liquids like juice or vinegar, as concrete is sensitive to acids. Keep benchtops clear of plates, pots, or vases for an extended period, as ceramics may cause staining.
Heat:
While our sealants are UV-resistant, prolonged direct sunlight exposure may lead to discoloration over time. Refrain from placing hot objects directly on the concrete surface, and always use drink coasters and placemats to safeguard the surface.
For fireplace hearths, concrete serves as a protective barrier between the fireplace and your home. However, it is not impervious to burn marks from direct heat. Always take precautions to avoid prolonged exposure to open flames or intense heat sources.
Adhesives and Tape:
Do not use adhesives, tape, or similar products on the concrete surface. These can react with the sealer and cause damage, leaving marks that may not be repairable.
Protection:
Use only our high-performance wax to add extra protection to the concrete surface. This should be applied once every three months or once every month for high-traffic surfaces. Please contact us directly to order your high-performance wax and application cloths.
